Matthieu Blazy isn’t the only one causing a stir at Chanel. The latest U.S. price increase is generating just as much buzz.
Price Increase by Style
While new-season Chanel was spared from the recent price increase, many Chanel handbags were not. As of April 2, most bags saw prices rise by $200–$400, reflecting adjustments across several core styles.
Overall, price increases ranged from around 2% to just under 5%. The Small Chanel 25 saw the biggest increase at 4.7%, and the Large Chanel Boy Flap saw the smallest at 2.6%. Let’s take a closer look at the impacted styles.
Chanel Classic Flap
The Classic Flap line saw increases ranging from 3.1% to 3.8%. The Mini Square Flap now sits at $5,400, the Mini Rectangular at $5,600, the Small Classic Flap at $11,300, the Medium Classic Flap at $11,700, the Jumbo Classic Flap at $12,600, and the Maxi Classic Flap at $13,200.
Chanel 25
Ever in demand these days, the Chanel 25 saw some of the steepest increases, ranging from 3.3% to 4.7%. The Mini now sits at $6,300, the Small at $6,700, and the Medium at $7,000.
